Phil Walter

Phil is a commercial producer in Moreton & Company’s Salt Lake City office. He is active in the management of large contractor surety business and manages the surety needs of several multi-state construction firms. He also manages the relationship between Moreton & Company and the surety marketplace. He is instrumental in leading and providing guidance to our surety professionals and overseeing over $10 million in premiums. Phil has 30 years of experience in the surety industry. Prior to joining Moreton & Company in 1994, Phil was a surety branch manager and was with Fireman’s Fund for eight years. He started his surety career with Insurance Company of the West in 1982.
