Rich Morgan

Rich is a commercial producer located in Moreton & Company’s Denver office. He is active in the production and management of contractor surety business throughout the Mountain States, strategically partnering contractor clients with the most suitable surety carriers to maximize their profitability. In this role, Rich closely manages the surety programs for several large contractors with regional, multi-state operations. He also manages the relationship between Moreton & Company and the surety marketplace.

Before joining Moreton & Company, Rich was Vice President and Regional Manager for Arch Surety, where he built Arch into a formidable presence in the Mountain States. He has over 25 years of experience in Contract Surety underwriting and has handled a wide array of construction firms, from small local contractors to large regional and national firms. Prior to his professional career, Rich earned a degree in Economics from Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD), where he also pitched on the Varsity Baseball team from 1993-1996. Rich has been married to his wife Kimber for 24 years, and they have two daughters, Paige and Brooke.
