In 2016, OSHA introduced the Improve Tracking of Workplace Injuries and Illnesses regulation. This year, OSHA is requiring that employers who meet federal guidelines laid out in the regulation report illness and injury data, even if they are covered by a State Plan that hasn’t completed the adoption of their own state rule.
